Dirk Nowitzki Participates in Full Practice
Mavericks star forward Dirk Nowitzki participated in a full practice Wednesday for the first time since undergoing preseason arthroscopic knee surgery.
The Mavs have not set a timetable for Nowitzki to play in games, but he is listed as out for Thursday night’s meeting with the Heat.
The Mavs originally believed that Nowitzki would be able to resume basketball activities within six weeks of the Oct. 19 surgery, but the 34-year-old’s recovery from his first knee operation has been slower than anticipated.
