Among the 12 announced Monday to join the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame are five-time NBA All-Star guard Reggie Miller and Don Nelson, the NBA’s all-time winningest coach.

Induction ceremonies are Sept. 6-8, where Miller and Nelson will be honored with three-time National College Player of the Year Ralph Sampson, two-time Olympic gold medalist Katrina McClain, former well known college basketball referee and coordinator Hank Nichols, former college and NBA star Jamaal Wilkes and the first women’s professional basketball team, the All American Red Heads.

Miller, 46, was voted in on his second opportunity, joining 1995 enshrinee Cheryl Miller, his sister. He retired from the NBA in 2005 after an 18-year career, all with the Indiana Pacers, and is their all-time leading scorer. He all is second all-time in the NBA in three-point field goals made, passed last season by Boston Celticsguard Ray Allen.
