“He’s come a long way,” Collins said of his rookie from Mississippi State. “Conditioning was critical. Any time you don’t play you lose conditioning. He gained a little bit of weight, which was natural. He’s playing very well and he’s picked our stuff up. A lot of times with these younger guys they’re used to, in college, playing maybe one or two motion offenses. And just understanding spacing on the floor and where you’re supposed to be and how hard you’re supposed to roll to the basket, when you’re supposed to go opposite, where you’re supposed to flash to, you have to know all those things. And then the defensive concepts. I don’t think people realize all the nuances into having a game plan. He’s done a good job with that. I feel strongly that he’s picked that up and he’s going to be a good player.”
