It has been nearly a year since Goran Dragic was awakened by Steve Nash on a Suns team flight and told that he had been traded.

“Last year, I needed time to adjust and then I did again with a new coach (Kevin McHale) and a new vision,” Dragic said. “I was really happy in Phoenix. I was really sad when they traded me. I miss all the coaches, the players and the city. I’m really grateful for what they did for me. They gave me an opportunity to play. But right now, I’m really happy in this situation. I found my spot here. You have to adjust and be strong.”

“I thought I was going to be there a long time and wished I would be,” Dragic said. “But I looked at the other side, I’m here to play basketball, not feel sorry for myself.”
