Duncan hopes to return Saturday for Spurs

San Antonio Spurs forward Tim Duncan told reporters on Thursday that his knee is feeling better and he’s hoping to play Saturday vs. the Washington Wizards.

Duncan has missed the past four games, and the team has gone 4-0 in his absence. The Spurs have the best record in the NBA at 37-11.

In 42 games this season, Duncan is averaging 17.5 points and 9.8 rebounds. His last game, vs. Philadelphia on Jan. 21, he had 24 points and 17 rebounds.
