Durant, James earn Player of the Month honors

The Miami Heat’s LeBron James and the Oklahoma City Thuder’s Kevin Durant were named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Month for February.James won the award for the second consecutive month after leading Miami to an 11-2 record in February. The Heat forward led the conference in scoring (24.6 ppg) and posted double-figure point totals in every game of the month.Durant scored 30 or more points seven times in the month and averaged 29.1 points per game. The Thunder forward dropped a career-high 51 points in a 124-118 win over the Denver Nuggets on Feb. 19.
