Dwyane Wade will not play for the Miami Heat on Tuesday night against thePhiladelphia 76ers because of a bruised left knee.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said Wade is “hopeful” for Wednesday’s key home game against theBoston Celtics. Wade struggled shooting and scored just 15 points in the Heat’s 91-72 loss.

The Heat were vague on details of when Wade got hurt and downplayed the severity. He also took part in the team’s practice on Monday and shootaround on Tuesday morning, suggesting the team may be trying to get Wade some rest.

Tuesday marked Wade’s 10th missed game this season due to injury. The Heat went 8-1 earlier this season in two stints without Wade.
