Elliot Williams’ Injury Season-Ending?

By HOOPSWORLD
Basketball News & NBA Rumors

It’s unclear how much time (Elliot) Williams will miss, but the hard-luck third-year guard likely faces an extended rehabilitation that could last several months. The Blazers will set a time line for his return after he undergoes surgery, which has not yet been scheduled.

It’s unclear if he will be ready to play opening night. Perhaps Williams’ recovery won’t be as severe, but it seems at least a possibility that his injury could be season-ending.
Williams was poised to serve as the Blazers’ backup shooting guard behind presumed starter Wesley Matthews and his injury is another discouraging setback — for him and the Blazers, who have endured too many injuries to count in recent seasons.
