Bilas takes hilarious picture with cheerleaders

ESPN analyst Jay Bilas’ book Toughness hits shelves March 5.

It’s a shame the part-time lawyer already has a book cover. Because his GameDay picture via Twitter posing with UCLA cheerleaders is a must-see shot.

Bilas strikes a nice Gangnam style-pose, while wearing a white tuxedo and tweeted the image, saying: “Typical Friday night before GameDay for The Bilastrator. Swag.”

Swag indeed, Mr. Bilas.

Bilas was doing some cheerleading of his own on Saturday, too. During College GameDay, Bilas stood up for embattled UCLA coach Ben Howland, saying: “If the people here, who love UCLA, want to destabilize a really good situation, they’re doing a good job.”

Oh, and here’s a nice little tid-bit from Bilas’ book:

“Successful players and teams don’t just assess themselves by records or statistics, but by a standard of excellence that goes beyond a final score,” Bilas said in his book about “meeting challenges head-on and not shrinking from them.”
