Veteran forward/center Sean Marks has decided to retire.

Marks told the New Zealand Herald that it was time for him to call it quits, ending an 11-year career.

The 6-foot-10 Marks averaged 2.8 points and 2.2 rebounds for six teams, winning a championship with the San Antonio Spurs in 2005.

He will join San Antonio in an administrative capacity, including a player development role.
