Fisher: NBA Needs to Give on System

That would be commissioner David Stern and the owners, who gave an ultimatum to the players by demanding they accept the league’s latest offer, which includes a 50-50 revenue split.

No deal, said union executive director Billy Hunter and president Derek Fisher after meeting Tuesday with representatives from 29 of the 30 teams.

“We’ve made the compromises on (basketball-related income) and economics,“ Fisher said. “Now it’s on the NBA to make compromises on the system points.”
