Flu sidelines T’wolves F Love
Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love sat out Wednesday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers due to flu-like symptoms.
The team’s leading scorer and rebounder, Love is averaging 24.5 points and 13.9 points per game.
He also was coming off a victory in the 3-Pooint Shootout during All-Star weekend, beating Oklahoma Thunder star Kevin Durant in the final.
Rookie Derrick Williams, the No. 2 pick in last year’s draft, started in place of Love.
