It was Halloween. It was opening night. The Detroit Pistons had big plans for their “Halloween Spectacular” halftime show.

The show was so big, in fact, that it started a minute too early.

With 58 seconds remaining in the first half of the game between the Rockets and Pistons, play was halted due to excessive fog behind the basket. One of the fog machines for the halftime show started ahead of schedule, sending Palace employees into a frenzy.

Enjoy.
