Fredette Struggling to Find Consistency
For the second consecutive game, Kings coach Keith Smart looked to Jimmer Fredette for a spark after he sat the entire first half.
This time, it didn’t work out.
Fredette scored 12 points in the second half of Wednesday’s win over Washington. But he couldn’t duplicate that against the Grizzlies as the Kings played their worst offensive game of the season.
“It can be tough, for sure,” Fredette said. “You’re just sitting on the bench, and then you come off in the third quarter and you’re a little bit cold. But you just try to do the best you can.”
“Some games it’s worked out well; this game it didn’t as well,” Fredette said. “You’ve just got to continue to play through it, play hard, and hopefully those shots will fall.”
