(Nuggets coach George) Karl wore an FC Barcelona soccer jersey during his pregame media session. Karl said he chose the top as a tribute to Minnesota Timberwolves guard Ricky Rubio, who is from Spain.
Rubio will miss the rest of the season because of a knee injury.
“I felt bad for Ricky Rubio,” Karl said.
