David West has been one of the league’s best players all season, but the Indiana Pacers’ power forward has elevated his play since the All-Star reserves were named Jan. 24.

“David had big games even before All-Star selection; he’s really carried us in so many games,” (Paul) George said before Tuesday’s game with Atlanta.

“I don’t know if I’ve ever seen him play as well as he’s playing right now,” Pacers coach Frank Vogel said. “He’s just carrying us, (and) not just on offense.”
