The Georgetown men’s basketball team was involved in a benches-clearing brawl during an exhibition game against the Bayi Rockets on Thursday in Beijing.

With U.S. Vice President Joe Biden visiting China, a fight broke out during the contest – forcing it to an abrupt end. Biden was not at the game

“(It was) a very competitive game that unfortunately ended after heated exchanges with both teams,” Georgetown coach John Thompson III said.

None of the players were injured in the melee.
