Texas Tech coach Billy Gillispie is facing serious allegations from players and coaches according to reports.

Gillispie, checked himself into the hospital Friday for what he told the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal felt like a “stroke” or a “heart attack.”

While Gillispie is hospitalized, players and coaches are coming forward with claims of mistreatment at the coach’s hands.

“We used to [practice] more than four hours all the time,” Jaron Nash told CBS Sports. Nash transferred to North Dakota after last season. “I remember that day when we went almost all day. We didn’t leave until 9 p.m. or so. It was pretty bad. A lot of guys were really hurt after it. One guy had a stress fracture in both legs.”

The player who suffered the stress fractures was identified as Kader Tapsoba in the report.

“[Tapsoba] was literally crying at practice,” a source told CBS’s Jeff Goodman. “He couldn’t even run and Gillispie had him running up and down the steps at the arena. I remember the doctor getting the X-rays back and coming to practice and telling Gillispie it was really bad. He’d just ice him up and tell him to go practice.”

Sources close to the Texas Tech program also said Goodman broke promises of coaching positions to several men including Ex-Indiana player Tom Coverdale and Renard Kidder.

Coverdale left his position at Tyler Junior College for a job as an assistant coach under Gillispie the report claims. Days before Coverdale was to begin, Gillispie informed him that he was actually receiving a lesser role for half the pay.

Phillips was at Texas Tech for three months with “no idea of his job responsibilities,” according to Goodman’s sources. Phillips left to take a high school position in D.C.
