Gordon Misses Hornets Win with Sore Knee
New Orleans Hornets shooting guard Eric Gordon did not play in Wednesday night’s game against the Boston Celtics because of a sore right knee, the team announced.
Gordon played 32 minutes in Tuesday night’s 111-99 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers. He was forced to go back in the game in the fourth quarter when the 76ers made a push to cut the Hornets’ 20-point lead to eight.
“We are going to keep him out based on protocol in his rehabilitation,’’ Hornets Coach Monty Williams said before Wednesday’s game at the TD Garden. “We want to make sure he comes back healthy in the right way.’’
