Jeff Green Injured in Celtics Loss

There was a sense of deja vu for the Boston Celtics in the fourth quarter after Jeff Green caught an elbow to the face that left him on the floor for more than just a moment.

A team official said Green suffered a bruised left cheek along with a few chipped teeth.

As far as his availability for the C’s Christmas Day game against Brooklyn, that remains unclear.

While Green has been inconsistent this season, his presence is valuable to the Celtics turning around a season that hasn’t been what the C’s were aiming for.
