Add Blake Griffin to the growing list of those who aren’t scared by the Los Angeles Lakers.

Despite signing Steve Nash and Dwight Howard during the offseason the Lakers haven’t been keeping the opposition up at the night.

At least according to the opposition.

“On paper it looks great,” Griffin told Darnell Mayberry of the Oklahoman. “People said the same thing when we got CP, Chris Paul. But they still got to go out there and play.”

Griffin add that there are “a lot of tough teams in the Western Conference. There’s one right here (the Thunder) that the Lakers have to get over. The Spurs have been a good team for the past 500 years…You expect them to hand out the trophy in the middle of the summer. So we’re not worried about that. We’re not worried about just the Lakers.”

And the Eastern Conference has its own superpower.

“It’s funny because the Heat have managed to somehow fly under the radar this summer and they added Ray Allen,” said Griffin. “So we can’t forget about all these other teams.”
