Griffin III challenges Griner to dunk contest
Baylor center and Associated Press women’s basketball Player of the Year Brittney Griner has been challenged to a dunk contest by Heisman winner and former Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III.”Yes, he did and I told him I’m going to dunk on him,” she told reporters Saturday.The contest won’t happen until Griner’s senior season in 2013. The 6-foot-8 junior is confident she can beat Griffin and has already dunked twice during the Bears’ run in the Women’s NCAA tournament.Baylor takes on Stanford in the national semifinal Sunday night.Griffin III is projected to be the No. 2 overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
