Grizzlies’ Arthur to Make Season Debut
Grizzlies forward Darrell Arthur is expected to make his regular-season debut Friday night but insists he was ready the first time he participated in practice.
Doctors and the head athletic trainer cleared Arthur for contact workouts last week.
Arthur had been preparing for the season following eight months of rehabilitation from an Achilles injury when he suffered a leg fracture during a September pickup game. With the small, non-displaced fracture healed, Arthur is ready to roar with the Western Conference-leading Griz, who host the star-studded but underachieving Los Angeles Lakers in FedExForum.
