Darrell Arthur undergoes Achilles’ surgery
Memphis Grizzlies forward Darrell Arthur underwent season-ending surgery to repair a torn Achilles’ tendon.
Arthur suffered the injury during a practice session on Sunday. The team said he will be ready for the start of next season.
Last season, Arthur averaged a career-high 9.1 points and pulled down 4.3 rebounds per game.
A first-round pick in 2008, Arthur was limited to only 32 games in 2009-10 after suffering a torn pectoral muscle.
