Hack-a-Howard Works in Magic’s Win
Lakers center Dwight Howard took his best shots Sunday night.
And missed. And missed.
And missed some more in a display of seriously foul shooting that sent the Lakers reeling in the fourth quarter of what became a 113-103 loss to the Orlando Magic in front of a sellout crowd of 18,997 at Staples Center.
Howard went to the free throw line 21 times and sank only nine.
The Magic fouled him in the open court in the fourth quarter, knowing Superman’s Kryptonite is his inability to sink a high percentage from the line. They hacked him again and again and he missed again and again.
