Hawks Johnson out of NBA All-Star Game

Atlanta Hawks guard Joe Johnson will miss the All-Star Game because of tendinitis in his left knee.Johnson will sit out Atlanta’s next two games prior to this weekend’s All-Star festivities to rest the injury.Johnson is the Hawks’ leading scorer at 17.6 points per game and was named an All-Star for the sixth year in a row.He’ll be re-evaluated early next week.Boston Celtics guard Rajon Rondo is expected to take Johnson’s place as an All-Star reserve.
