Joe Johnson out Wednesday’s tilt v. Knicks

Atlanta Hawks guard Joe Johnson will sit out the team’s game against the New York Knicks on Wednesday due to tendinitis in his left knee.The All-Star guard left Monday’s loss to the Chicago Bulls midway through the third quarter and didn’t return to the game due to the injury.Johnson is averaging 17.6 points and 3.8 assists in 32 games for the Hawks this season.
