HEAT Players LeBron, Allen Have Special Bond
Despite one teammate being nine years older than the other, who have appeared in harmony all season, even before Miami HEAT guard Ray Allen scored 23 and forward LeBron James added 22 in a Game 3 victory that set the HEAT up to sweep the Milwaukee Bucks out of the first round Sunday. Before games on the road, you can often hear them speaking quietly on the training table. Between games, they often go to dinner together, sometimes with other teammates, sometimes without. You would think, upon observing their interaction, that they knew each other well before Allen’s decision to join the Heat as a free agent last summer.
“We didn’t,” Allen said.
“Now it’s a special bond that we have,” James said. “And it was like, right away.”
