Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat and New Jersey Nets point guard Deron Williams were not in uniform for Monday’s game between the teams due to injuries.
Wade was given the night off to rest his right ankle, which has given him problems throughout the season. The Heat are 11-1 this year without Wade in the starting lineup.
Williams is nursing a right calf injury, suffered Sunday against Boston. Sundiata Gaines drew the start at point guard in his absence.
