Metta World Peace kisses fan’s hand

Chivalry is not dead in the NBA, at least as far as Metta World Peace is concerned.

Perhaps excited by Sunday night’s return of “Downton Abbey” or practicing for yet another Lifetime Movie role, World Peace went into the stands following a play in Sunday’s 113-93 win over Cleveland to kiss a female fan’s hand.

It’s a move he pulled in the preseason as well, with neither really having much context or apparent premeditated thinking.

There’s the “Kiss Cam” in NBA arenas and baseball once had Morganna, the “kissing bandit,” but no player has really taken it upon himself to make kissing the hands of random females fans his thing before.

Now that one of World Peace’s previous moves has been hijacked by an upstart NFL quarterback, maybe it’s finally the time.
