Hornets Acquire Brad Miller and Two Picks

The New Orleans Hornets have acquired Brad Miller, two second-round picks and cash from the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for the Hornets’ protected second-round pick in 2017, according to a press release. The second-round picks are the Brooklyn Nets’ 2013 selection and the Timberwolves’ 2016 selection.

Miller, a 14-year NBA veteran with the Bulls, Pacers, Kings, Rockets and Timberwolves began his career as an undrafted free agent with the Hornets on January 21, 1999. Miller is expected to retire.
