The New Orleans Hornets were without point guard Jarrett Jack and forward Jason Smith for Monday’s game against the Sacramento Kings.

Jack sat out his third straight with a sore left knee, while Smith did not play after suffering a concussion on Saturday.

Jack has helped pick up the slack with Chris Paul no longer in the fold, averaging 15.8 points and 6.8 assists. Smith averages 8.2 points.

The Hornets were already missing guard Eric Gordon and forward Carl Landry with injuries.

They have lost five straight games entering Monday.
