Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard’s ailing back caused him to seek a second opinion.
By venturing to Los Angeles with team physical therapist Ed Manalo, Howard will miss Friday’s game against the Atlanta Hawks.
Howard has missed the Magic’s last two contests due to back spasms.
The superstar center is averaging 20.6 points and 14.5 rebounds this season.
