Indiana Pacers guard Lance Stephenson is “fine,” a team spokesman said, following his involvement in a minor two-vehicle traffic accident Monday evening.

“He’s practicing today,” said David Benner, the team spokesman.

Police ticketed the driver of the other vehicle for driving without a license, according to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department report.

The basketball player was headed to a “Shop with the Pacers” event at Greenwood Park Mall shortly before 6 p.m., a team spokesman said, when he rear-ended another vehicle driven by Tameisha Hinton, 30, Indianapolis, in the 7800 block of U.S. 31 South.

The Pacers player was taken to St. Francis Hospital to be checked out before being sent home, the spokesman said Monday night, and the incident was listed in a police report as a personal injury accident.
