Injuries Mounting for the Indiana Pacers

And now, it gets worse. Or might get worse. Danny Granger twisted his ankle when (LeBron) James got under him on a three-point try, and Granger’s availability in Game 6 is questionable. This is a deep team, but without Granger, the series is a no-hoper.

Same thing with David West. He left the court in the second half with a sprained knee. The Pacers have kept saying they won’t back down to the Heat, and Tyler Hansbrough reminded us with a tough Flagrant 1 that bloodied Wade’s face. But when it came to actual basketball, they backed down as they never have before in this series, their innate belief fractured for 48 minutes.
