Toronto Raptors forward Andrea Bargnani has been offered a three-month deal that will be worth more than $800,000 to play with Montegranaro of Italy.

The contract will be structured similar to the one being offered to Kobe Bryant by another Italian Club, Virtus Bologna.

Bargnani played in Italy prior to being taken with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2006 NBA draft.

He is coming off his best season, averaging a career-high 21.4 points with 5.2 rebounds for the Raptors.
