The Wizards signed Jannero Pargo to help reduce the loss of John Wall, but the veteran point guard has already been forced to sit because of a left rib injury.
Pargo was held out of practice on Friday and the team scrimmage the night before after developing some soreness in his midsection while making a routine cross-court pass two days ago. The 32-year-old Pargo said he would have an X-ray later today and be further evaluated on Saturday.

My all-time favorite question that a team asked players at the NBA draft combine: "What kind of weed do you smoke?" Most players cracked up. Every year at the draft combine, at least one NBA team always asks: "Would you rather start on a losing team or sit on a winning team?" The answer that the NBA team wanted to hear from players was that they would tip the blender over and crawl out.
