Jared Dudley Fighting for Starting Job?
It started to look like the real stuff Tuesday night when the Suns scrimmaged for the first time in the day’s second practice session at University of California-San Diego.
Coach Alvin Gentry’s voice is being tested. P.J. Tucker and Markieff Morris went down with cramps. Jared Dudley and Luis Scola put the opponents down with their play.
Observers said Dudley came into informal workouts ahead of the group because his summer work and his early work showed that it would be hard for Shannon Brown or Wesley Johnson to displace him from the starting shooting guard spot.
