Jeremy Lamb May See More Minutes
Scott Brooks surprised another one of his players Wednesday night.
And again, one of his players pleasantly surprised Brooks.
Jeremy Lamb scored five points in five minutes in the Thunder’s 100-92 win over the Hawks inside Philips Arena. But unlike most of Lamb’s playing time this season, Wednesday’s production came at a critical juncture.
Lamb, the 12th overall pick out of Connecticut, checked in for Kevin Durant with 3:11 left in the first quarter. Oklahoma City actually trailed 16-15 at that point. Brooks, however, trusted the rookie to come through.
