Kerry zings Rodman for trip to North Korea

Secretary of State John Kerry joined just about every other person in the United States in denouncing Dennis Rodman’s recent “basketball diplomacy” trip to North Korea.
“Dennis Rodman was a great basketball player,” Kerry told NBC News. “And as a diplomat, he is a great basketball player. And that’s where we’ll leave it.”
Sounds like somebody is jealous he didn’t get to party with Kim Jong Un.
Kerry was answering a question from Andrea Mitchell for an interview scheduled to air Tuesday. No one of any political consequence should be forced to dignify Rodman’s made-for-HBO propaganda visit, but if someone is going to ask, a healthy dose of burn is the way to go.
Then again, if history is any judge, there’s a reasonable chance Kerry was for Dennis Rodman’s visit before he was against it.
Rodman returned from North Korea with high praise for the dictator. He said Kim is a “friend for life” and urged President Obama to call his new BFF so they can talk hoops.
