The Detroit Pistons went 25-41 in the abbreviated 2011-12 NBA season, but an encouraging .500 record over the final 42 games and the addition first-round centerAndre Drummond has some believing they can turn things around next season.

Count Pistons’ fourth-year forward Jonas Jerebko as one of the believers.

“We got a deep team,” Jerebko said in a recent interview. “Our goal was the playoffs last year. We played playoff basketball, but we started off the season horrible.

“We’re going to get better. We got a young team, and we’re going to make the playoffs.”
