Kansas forward Thomas Robinson announced that he is foregoing his senior season and entering the NBA draft.

Robinson, who helped the Jayhawks reach the NCAA championship game, made the announcement Monday at a news conference alongside coach Bill Self and nine-year-old sister Jayla.

Robinson recently became the first player since Blake Griffin to be an unanimous All-American selection. He averaged 17.9 points and 11.8 rebounds per game while recording a nation-leading 27 double-doubles as a junior.

The 6-foot-9 Robinson is expected to be a lottery pick, if not a top-five selection in the upcoming draft.
