Kansas forward Thomas Robinson was announced Monday as a unanimous selection to The Associated Press’ All-American team.

Robinson, a junior, becomes the first player to achieve the feat since Blake Griffin in 2009.

Robinson, who was picked first by all 65 national voters, averaged 17.9 points and 11.8 rebounds this season, helping Kansas advance to the Final Four. He is the school’s first All-American since Wayne Simien in 2005.

The other first-team selections were Ohio State’s Jared Sullinger, Anthony Davis of Kentucky, Michigan State’s Draymond Green and Doug McDermott of Creighton.

Davis, a freshman, received 63 votes from the panel. Sullinger, meanwhile, is the first repeat All-American in three years.
