Kansas guard Tyshawn Taylor underwent surgery Sunday to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee.

Taylor was injured in practice earlier this week, but played in Saturday’s win over No. 2 Ohio State, scoring nine points and handing out a career-high 13 assists.

The leading returning scorer from last season’s team, Taylor is expected to be sidelined for up to three weeks.

He is averaging 15.9 points and 4.7 assists this season.
