Kentucky #1, Murray State cracks top 10
Kentucky received 63 of the 65 first-place votes to remain the top choice in The Associated Press’ college basketball poll on Monday.
Syracuse received the other two first-place votes to move into second place.
Ohio State also moved up one spot to third after Missouri, which was originally ranked second, fell to Oklahoma State. The Tigers are now fourth in the poll.
North Carolina, who moved up from seventh to fifth, Baylor, Duke, Kansas, Michigan State and undefeated Murray State round out the top 10. The Racers are making their first foray into the top 10 in school history.
