Kentucky Wildcats forward Anthony Davis has been named the winner of the 2012 Wayman Tisdale Award as the men’s national Freshman of the Year.The 19-year-old averaged 14.3 points and 10 rebounds for the Wildcats this season.Davis has already broken SEC freshman and Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball single-season blocked shots records and been named the 2012 Sporting News Men’s College Basketball Player of the Year.
