Kevin Garnett ignores Ray Allen on the bench

Ray Allen probably wasn’t expecting a friendly reunion with his former teammates on the Boston Celtics tonight.
As USA TODAY Sports’ Jeff Zillgitt detailed, Allen hasn’t spoken with Kevin Garnett, Rajon Rondo or Paul Pierce since joining the Miami Heat in the offseason. But is a little acknowledgement on opening night Tuesday too much to expect?
Apparently so.

At least Allen wasn’t left hanging while going for a high five. A Garnett-savvy veteran knows better than that.
But hey, if you’re going to draw Garnett’s ire, the silent treatment is better than the alternative.
