Kevin Garnett: More Bigs is Better
“Health is always our issue,” said KG. “Bigs are very hard to get in this league. Bigs do a lot for our system, especially when it comes to picks and getting guys open. Doc’s system is predicated off bigs getting smalls open. So the more bigs we have, the better.
“More importantly, man, we have a lot of bigs that have high IQs. That’s pretty refreshing.”
Rivers said, “They can go get it and can both pass. I love passing bigs. We’ve gone from one last year in Kevin to three immediately, and actually Collins is a pretty good passer because he’s so smart. Our passing ability at our big spot has increased dramatically.”
