Kings’ Coach Won’t Name Backup PG
Sorting out the backup point guard spot remains a work in progress for the Kings.
Jimmer Fredette and Isaiah Thomas have alternated who comes off the bench first over the past six games.
At this point, though, Smart doesn’t appear ready to settle on which second-year player is Aaron Brooks’ primary backup.
“I talked with those two guys (Saturday) and told them it’s difficult for me trying to figure out which one of you is going to back up,” (Kings coach Keith) Smart said. “You guys are young players in the NBA, you’re still carving out your careers.”
