Already missing starting shooting guard Rip Hamilton due to a torn left plantar fascia, let alone superstar Derrick Rose, the Bulls backcourt took another hit in Saturday night’s 93-85 home win over the East-leading Knicks.

Current starting point guard Kirk Hinrich suffered a left-elbow injury and didn’t play in the second half of the victory, though the team listed his return as questionable.

He tweaked his elbow,” said (Bulls coach Tom) Thibodeau, who noted that Hinrich’s status was “day-to-day”
